I believe is God’s gift to us as a people. It is more important than houses, cars or any of life’s material riches. From the very moment that we are born we starve for it. If we think about it all of our prayers or wishes are delivered to us either directly or indirectly from a person. So yes subconsciously we pray for it. That being said many of us devalue people and often write off certain groups for whatever prejudices we harbor. Get that, we reject our own blessing due to our own prejudices. My life has been so fulfilled by some of the shortest and unexpected connections with people I did not know. I thank God each and every time I have a real moment to connect with you. If we have not yet had the pleasure to meet each other, I look forward to perhaps one day receiving that gift.
